Lena Chamamyan, a Syrian singer with Armenian roots will fascinate you with an exciting combination of classical oriental songs combined with jazz elements and traditional Armenian music. Her first album 'Hal Asmar Ellon' (2006) contains exactly this type of mixture. Together with the trumpeter Basel Rajoub, Lena Chamamyan won the first Moyen Orient Music Award of Radio Monte Carlo in 2006.
