regionale08-Project: ‘Ballooning’
The hot air balloons of regionale08 float over the festival region as landmarks between earth and sky as if they were counterparts to the surface-bound Running Divan Truck. The balloons rise in order to permit a view from above downwards and thus offer the experience of a new perspective. The lighter-than-air vehicles and the passengers in their baskets are exposed to the forces of nature and the vagaries of the wind. The regionale08 logos not only convert the hot air balloons to landmarks and trademarks of this cultural festival, but their presence also turns the sky into an art space.
Visitors to regionale08 can book their flights at Flaggl Ballooning GmbH to discover and perceive the DIVAN region from one of the most exciting perspectives. A precondition of the skyward pleasure is, or course, that the thermal conditions are favourable.
